Payment Policy.

Organizations are subject to the following terms and payment policies, as they apply to each Job Request:

1. General.

Ambimi operates on a Monday to Sunday work week schedule. The Pay Period for each week is from Wednesday to Tuesday with Professionals being paid (for the prior Pay Period) on a weekly basis every Friday.

2.  Gigs.

A Job Request is considered a “Gig Job” when an Organization requests that a Professional complete work that is scheduled for a minimum of two (2) hours and up to a maximum of two (2) days*.

Organizations are charged the following fees applicable to Gig Jobs:

Total Wages = Wage Rate * Total Hours

Booking Fee = $10.95

Service Fee = Total Wages * 12%

Taxes = (Total Wages + Booking Fee + Service Fee) *5%

Total Charges = Total Wages + Booking Fee + Service Fee + Taxes

*Note: Job Requests scheduled for exactly two days are considered Contract Jobs — not Gig Jobs.

3. Contracts.

A Job Request is considered a “Contract Job” when an Organization requests that a Professional complete work that is scheduled for two (2) or more days.

Organizations are charged the following fees applicable to Contract Jobs:

Total Wages = Wage Rate * Total Hours

Booking Fee* = $20.95 + (n-1) * $12.95, n=number of weeks

Service Fee = Total Wages * 10%

Taxes = (Total Wages + Booking Fee + Service Fee) *5%

Total Charges = Total Wages + Booking Fee + Service Fee + Taxes

*Note: The Booking Fee will be charged at the end of the first shift of every work week. The Booking Fee for the first week will be $20.95. All subsequent weeks of the contract duration will be discounted to $12.95.

 4. Job Offer.

Organizations can hire Professionals as permanent employees through Ambimi. A “Job Offer” may be extended from an Organization to a Professional through a previous introduction via a Gig Job/Contract Job, or through the Ambimi Job Request and application process. Any Professional who is recruited or engaged by an Organization through Ambimi and/or is referred, recommended, directed, or made relevant to the Organization by Ambimi, will incur “Job Offer” fees. Job Offer fees payable by Organizations are calculated as follows:

Booking Fee = (Wage Rate * 2000) * 5%

Taxes = Booking Fee * 5%

Total Charges = Booking Fee + Taxes

Organizations that hire Professionals via Job Offers made through Ambimi will gain access to Ambimi’s scheduling services, free of charge for twelve (12) months following the Organization’s hire of the permanent employee. Each additional employee hired by the Organization through Ambimi will receive the scheduling services free of charge for twelve (12) months. Subscription fees to Ambimi’s scheduling services are subject to change after the permanent employee’s first twelve months.

5. Holds.

Ambimi will conduct holds on an Organization’s credit card to ensure fees are paid for each Job Request. Holds are calculated by multiplying the applicable Service Fee, plus markup, taxes and tips amount allotted, by up to 50%. For clarity, holds will equal up to 50% of the total Job Request fees.

Holds will be captured three (3) days prior to the first scheduled shift of a Gig or Contract. In the event that a hold is unsuccessful, Ambimi will notify the Organization immediately to obtain accurate payment information, and a hold will again be attempted two (2) days before the first scheduled shift. Ambimi will repeat the above process if the hold is unsuccessful again. If all holds are unsuccessful, a final hold will be attempted 24 hours before the first scheduled shift. In the event that the final hold attempt is not successful, Ambimi will automatically cancel the first shift of the Gig Job or Contract Job. The holds process will repeat for all subsequent shifts as part of the Job Request.

At any time during a shift, an Organization may decide to add more hours to the shift. Organizations have the ability to add hours to a shift as many times as they desire. Accordingly, Ambimi will place additional holds on top of the initial hold(s), in each instance that hours are added to a shift. At the end of a shift, all holds will be reconciled, and the Organization will be charged for any additional hours as per the Service Fee calculation

6. Tips & Bonuses.

Organizations have the option to give Professionals “Tips” or “Bonuses”. Tips are designated for Professionals working Gig Jobs and are given at the end of a completed Gig Job. Ambimi will charge a five percent (5%) convenience fee on the total tip amount. Bonuses are designated for Professionals working Contracts and are given at the fulfillment of the entire Contract period.

7. Refunds.

Ambimi does not grant refunds for services rendered by Professionals, including Tips & Bonuses.

Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and Ambimi will only consider refunding Booking Fees paid by an Organization. Please contact customer service at info@ambimi.com to make any request for a refund.
